Meet Big Sky!  For this turquoise & sterling silver statement ring, three gorgeous stones -- light to medium blue color with matrix -- high quality  turquoise gemstones, from Lander County, Nevada, are nestled in .999 fine silver and set on layered .925 sterling silver and finished with four .925 sterling silver orbs and textured, split-shank band. Also called the Orvil Jack Mines for the miner who discovered and developed it.

Symbolism:

  • Turquoise, a December birthstone, represents wisdom, tranquility, protection, good fortune, and hope.  Many cultures believe in its profound power to protect and have revered it as a good luck stone.

About:

  • All pieces are slowly and carefully handcrafted in my studio in the Buffalo National River Wilderness, located in the Boston Mountains of the Ozarks.  Each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
  • As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, gardening, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
  • The sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
