Lady of the Forest is a true one-of-a-kind necklace that has been handmade from a rare, natural gemstone and sterling silver, combining the beauty of nature with the elegance of precious metals. It features a chunky piece of Calypso Variscite - a rare, brightly colored American gemstone with complex patterns - set in a truly unique setting that resembles an ancient rune with a layered sterling silver fern dangling below. I chose a gorgeous, rare Calypso Variscite (from Nevada) and created this pendant in .999 fine silver and .925 sterling silver. I've carefully sawn out and soldered all of the parts of the pendant , including the handdrawn fern. Variscite, a green stone, is believed to be a grounding stone, a stone of hope and encouragement, and hey, who couldn't use more of that?

• Pendant with fern dangle, measures 3 5/8" (92mm) long, including the bail, & slightly over 1 1/4" (32mm) at the widest part.
• The gemstone is Calypso Variscite, a rare and expensive material, and is responsibly sourced. Cut & polished by an American lapidary.
• Oxidized finish with brushed highlights.
• Solid Sterling Silver Chain length is 18" with 2" extension and S-clasp closure. Longer lengths are available -- send me a message for details.  (American manufactured sterling silver chain with handmade extender & clasp).
• Hand Fabricated of Solid .925 Sterling Silver and .999 Fine Silver (Country of Origin - USA -- made with recycled silver)
