This sterling silver necklace features a seriously chunky piece of White Water turquoise -- look at the photo from the side to see just how thick it is. The colors in this high grade turquoise are truly gorgeous, covering the range of pale turquoise to medium turquoise blue with white matrix and silver pyrite flecks.

WHITE WATER Turquoise is highly coveted for its beautiful water web matrix with natural inclusions and is considered a higher grade turquoise because of its intense colors and dream-like white matrices. It is sourced from the Campitos turquoise mine in the Sonoran area of Mexico, and has become one of the most popular turquoises of this century. I've included several closeup images of the stone to give you a better idea of its beauty, photographed in bright & muted natural lighting, as well as under photography lights. (The bright white spots are reflections from the window or light bulbs.)

I accented the oval shape of the stone with a simple sterling silver halo setting, as well as an oval sterling silver chain. The pendant and chain are .925 sterling silver, as well.
