Kingman Turquoise and Sterling Silver Necklace with Handmade Large Link Chain

Oh, the color of this stone!!!  Tons of time and love went into this piece featuring a lovely, large Kingman turquoise stone set in a scalloped, layered setting, with the added detail of Carico Lake turquoise and silver ball embellishments.

I added even more love by texturing the edges of the layered setting and making every link of the matching, textured, handmade chain. 

Truly unique and definitely one-of-a-kind. 

Details:

• Pendant measures 1 5/8" long & slightly more than 1" wide
• The large stone is from the Kingman, AZ mines and has been cut & stabilized by an AZ lapidarist/jeweler.
  
• Two small stones are Carico Lake from Lander County, Nevada and have been cut by an American lapidarist.
• Has a brushed oxidized finish.
• Chain length is adjustable up to 23" with an S-clasp closure.
  
• 100% Handmade

Symbolism:

• The oval shape symbolizes rebirth, fertility, and even immortality.
• Turquoise, a December birthstone, represents wisdom, tranquility, protection, good fortune, and hope.  Many cultures believe in its profound power to protect and have revered it as a good luck stone.

About: 

• All pieces are slowly and carefully handcrafted in my studio in the Buffalo National River Wilderness, located in the Boston Mountains of the Ozarks.  Each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!

• As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, gardening, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.

• The sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
