Pale Blue Turquoise & Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings with Leather Fringe | Orissa Turquoise

These dangle earrings have got the cutest boho-western vibe. 

They feature a pair of that highly-sought-after pale blue color, with brown matrix, Orissa turquoise.  The stones are sisters, but not twins.  I created an oval, oxidized/textured, sterling silver setting with a sawtooth bezel for the chunky stones, but couldn't stop there.  Chocolate brown leather fringe was added to accentuate the stones' matrix, and they were hung from my artisan ear wires.

• Total length:  2 5/8" & 2 3/4"

• The stones are from the Orissa mine and have been cut by a renowned American lapidarist/jewelery.

Symbolism:

• Turquoise, a December birthstone, represents wisdom, tranquility, protection, good fortune, and hope.  Many cultures believe in its profound power to protect and have revered it as a good luck stone.

• All pieces are slowly and carefully handcrafted in my studio in the Buffalo National River Wilderness, located in the Boston Mountains of the Ozarks.  Each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
